Kelly joined Battery in 2017 and serves as the firm’s external talent representative, executing senior-level talent searches across the firm’s portfolio. She also recommends and introduces outside recruiting firms to portfolio companies, and provides hands-on advice and best-practices counsel to our companies in areas like recruiting, compensation planning and employee on-boarding.

Prior to Battery, Kelly worked at Oracle, where she led executive recruiting for Thomas Kurian, the president of product development. While at Oracle, she recruited more than 45 executives at the VP level and above to lead the company’s cloud efforts without using retained search firms. Before Oracle, Kelly was a principal at Riviera Partners, an executive search firm for venture-backed technology companies. Kelly also spent time as an executive recruiter at the retained search firm Schweichler Price Mullarkey & Barry (now SPMB). She has also done technical recruiting and started her career in marketing for Clif Bar and CamelBak products.

Kelly holds a BA from Whittier College, and studied abroad in Denmark. She has run seven marathons and 15 half-marathons, and enjoys hiking and skiing.
