Les Trachtman is Managing Director of Purview, LLC and Chairman of the Trachtman Group. He recently published his first book titled Don’t F**K It Up, How founders and their successors can avoid the clichés that inhibit growth, based upon his personal experiences succeeding founders as the second-CEO and studying hundreds of others. Les has served as the CEO of companies ranging from a pre-revenue venture capital financed startup to a $350 million technology reseller. Trachtman has published numerous articles in publications including Yahoo Finance!, Law360, The Harvard Business Review, CEO Magazine, ValueWalk and the Washington Post. He frequently lectures at leading business schools including Harvard, MIT, and USC. Les serves on the board of directors of The Metro Group and has been the Entrepreneur in Residence at Union College. Les received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Union College and a JD and MBA from Emory University. Portions of Mr. Trachtman’s career are chronicled in the Harvard Business School case Les is More Times Four as well as in Noam Wasserman’s best selling book The Founder’s Dilemmas.
